Burgers’ Zoo needed an engaging campaign to promote their Mythical Creatures Show by incorporating Dolfie, a beloved character from a well-known children’s book series. The challenge was twofold: adapting Dolfie to fit seamlessly into the animation style established for the Winter Animals’ Show commercial while preserving the essence and charm of the original character. Additionally, we needed to maintain the magical appeal of mythical creatures while creating a concise 30-second narrative that captivated young viewers and their families.
Our team worked diligently to adapt Dolfie’s character design, ensuring it retained the familiar traits beloved by fans of the children’s book while seamlessly fitting into the style established for Snowy’s animation. We used 2d animation techniques to bring Dolfie to life with expressive movements and vibrant charm. The narrative was carefully structured to remain faithful to Dolfie’s personality while aligning with Burgers’ Zoo’s storytelling goals. This approach ensured that the campaign effectively blended fantasy elements with an engaging and relatable story, creating a magical experience for audiences.
We developed social media-friendly adaptations in portrait orientation to maximize the campaign’s reach. These versions retained the original animation’s enchanting visuals and whimsical storytelling, making them perfect for social media platforms. Highlighting Dolfie’s playful personality and the magical world of mythical creatures, these vertical formats successfully engaged audiences on mobile, amplifying the campaign’s impact across digital platforms.
