Challenge

Creating a visually compelling animation that balanced educational content with the cinematic drama of a movie trailer was no easy task. The project required blending food marketing elements, such as delicious visuals, with the dynamic, bold transitions of trailer-style storytelling. Another challenge was capturing Tapioca’s versatility across diverse applications-dairy, sauces, bakery, and plant-based alternatives-while emphasizing sustainability and reliability.

Solution

To overcome these challenges, Hound Studio developed a hybrid animation style, combining 3D and frame-by-frame techniques to achieve vibrant and realistic food visuals. We meticulously crafted scenes, using dramatic cuts and bold typography to create a cinematic atmosphere. Each application of Tapioca was brought to life with specific textures and movements-stretchy for cheese, silky for yogurt, and crunchy for baked goods. By integrating global supply network visuals and sustainability messaging, we effectively communicated Ingredion’s leadership in this space.
